Freelensed Fridays | June 3rd-9th

All of the gorgeous photos that were chosen this week make me think of enjoying the simple pleasures of summer-playing outside until dark, cooling off in a little water, the smell of fragrant flowers in the warm evening air.

What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.  -Gertrude Jekyll

  1. Does anyone have tips on freelensing subjects further away (such as last two pics or 4th from bottom) – I seem to only be able to get any focus really close?

    1. I have the best luck with the further away shots when I have my focus set to infinity and detach the lens but keep it very close to the camera body and just slightly tilt it. -Kelly
